Avenue Law firm; 2002-2005 Partner, Checksix, LLC, a holding company that owns
a majority interest in several intellectually property based
environmental/energy conservation companies. At Checksix, LLC, Mr. Lenna was
responsible for developing the patent portfolio covering the products, methods,
and compositions behind each of the companies owned by Checksix, LLC. Mr. Lenna
was also responsible for overseeing the research and development functions at
the company’s research laboratories in New York and North Carolina. Memberships
include New York Intellectual Property Law Association and American
Intellectual Property Law Association (Member, Biotechnology Committee, 1996 to
present); New York Biotechnology Association and the Suffolk County Bar
association (1997-present). Mr. Lenna focuses his practice on patent
procurement in the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, semi-conductor, materials,
complex catalysts, and related fields as well as counseling clients in the
areas of patent validity and enforceability.
Mr. Lenna has provided numerous validity, infringement and enforceability
opinions to his clients and has conducted numerous due diligence projects.
